Hi Mike,
I hope your holidays were merry and bright and that 2009 is off to a great start for you. I have been carrying thank you cards in my work bag for weeks, thinking that I might get a moment to actually sit down and write one to you and George. It doesn’t look like that’s going to happen so I’m resorting to email.
We want to thank you so much for the time and care you took in restoring our master bath floor. We were desolate after the tile contractor nearly destroyed it completely. We anticipated having to rip up and reinstall the entire floor. And then it was Stone Poets to the rescue!
In addition to being a lovely soul and a gentleman, George is a patient and skilled artisan. He tackled what we believed to be an impossible task and restored our badly damaged floor to the point that I no longer fixate on the imperfections. Instead of being frustrated by having to come back a couple of times to make little fixes, he cheerfully met the challenge. The floor looks beautiful — even better than when it was first installed. You and your team are consummate professionals and artists. We only wish that the rest of our remodel could have been done by contractors of your caliber. You are a rare breed.
